With a visit to the Schoellkopf Geological Museum, delve into how and when the Falls were formed. Join the guided moonlight walks to Luna Island at the Falls, or flora/rock explorations into the gorge. If children are part of your group, they can participate in the many programs designed as hands on history of Niagara.
The three Falls of Niagara are situated in the oldest State Park in the nation. Its spectacular views continue to be protected from commercial development, the naturalist presentation is preserved to thrill and inspire all who visit. Goat Island is perfect for picnics, strolls or a brisk jog (there's a measured mile already laid out where you'll meet locals and visitors alike.) Explore the Three Sisters Islands for a closer look at the famous upper rapids of the Niagara.
Visit the Niagara Reservation State Park's Visitors Center; with hands-on displays, a movie theater, virtual reality helicopter ride, gift shop, dancing waters and the wonderful Great Lakes Gardens - all close to the Falls and all for your continuing enjoyment of nature.
